Very nice part of Bulawayo, still very close to the centre of town and the road to Matobo National Park. Camping area and the property as a whole were lovely, the pool was very welcome. The kitchen was clean and well stocked, the beer was cold and the person running it gave good info about getting around Bulawayo, the national park and gave me the number of somewhere to rent a bike in town. Stayed here for a month on a mission trip. Paradise is exactly what it is!! Green, and very vibrant colorful garden make you feel like you are in botanical gardens. Beautiful landscaping!! Lovely ponds and you will see a bunch of different kind of African birds. Lovely in ground pool. Did not feel like hostel at all but a resort to relax! Loved so much I came back! Daiva M

I arrived around 2 am without a reservation if sorts yet she still welcomed me with her beaming personality. The dogs too greeted me with ecstasy as I ventured into this beautiful and quaint house. The breakfast and dinner were also incredible. However, the loveliest part of this stay was the hospitality demonstrated by Lily and her family. 10/10 would stay again Dragon Bruce Lee

We arrived by bus to the city centre and had a driver take us to Lily’s. The driver had trouble finding the house in a residential neighbourhood a couple of miles from the city centre. We spent two nights at Lily’s which was fine but I would’ve rather stayed in the city centre area. If you have your own vehicle to drive around this place will be fine, but if you want to be where the action is I would suggest getting a place in the city centre. Creeping Death

The neighbourhood is easy to access town from, about 2k or a $3 taxi. The yard is amazing, flowers, trees, shade and sun. The house is a lovely old home, well loved and spacious. The WiFi is strong, the kitchen is nice, and everything was great. The best part is the staff, they are so sweet and helpful. It felt like home! Jillian

The first hostel I’ve stayed where they provide double beds! Enough said. This place far exceeded my expectations. The hostel is set in an old Victorian style house with a huge garden, at the end of a beautiful tree-lined street you’d expect in a more affluent area of New Orleans. You want somewhere quiet to read your book and get a great sleep? This is your place. Above all else, though the staff are 10/10. So friendly and helpful. Thanks for the stay Choice! Jamie
